The private island, with a lighthouse, of Grebeni is only some 300m away from the well-known touris resort Babin Kuk in Dubrovnik. In 1872, a lighthouse was built on the island in order to make it easier for seamen to navigate into the port of Gruž, which is nowadays the main port in Dubrovnik. The lighthouse building has a large sunny terrace which is on 15m distance from the small quay below. The Hotel Dubrovnik Palace, which manages the lighthouse, provides a daily maid service.
