This tree at the base of Dune 45, Namibia is probaly one of the most photographed tree in the World. Sometimes as a photographer luck can pay an important role in our work. I have driven passed this many times and never have I seen the Dune blown by such strong winds. It was really difficult image to capture as I photographing using a 600mm telephoto lens so I could compress the view/perspective. The wind was blowing hard and it was difficult keeping the lens/camera steady on my tripod. I was covered in dust and sand. The sand was biting at my face and hands. But I perservered and was very please to have captured this unquie image.
