Image Lion Attack from mariomoreno

A male Lion feels threatened by the presence of vultures and jackals while guarding a kill and puts on a display of pure force and dominance. The image was taken in the Ndutu region of the Serengeti ecosystem during a recent safari I led. The lion caught me off guard so captured this frame with a slowish shutter speed resulting in some shake. The moment is still worth sharing.
