It doesn't matter if you got up at 4AM to catch a flight to Oslo. It still doesn't matter if you have a multi-hour layover with a delay to catch your connecting flight from Oslo to Harstad. It even doesn't matter if you have a 3.5 hour drive in a totally unfamiliar place in the pitch black of darkness. None of this matters when the call of the aurora sounds. If you're lucky enough to be in a location to hear it, and even luckier to see it, you'd better be ready to capture it. If you're truly a photographer, then it's your job to do so.
