While in Moab, Utah (USA) during my March 4 -11, 2014 photo shoot adventure, I wanted to shoot as many night sky / Milky Way photos as I could over the arches and various beautiful sandstone monuments there. I arrived at The Windows around 4am that morning and I could see the Milky Way over the Windows and partially over Turret Arch. I had to get started quickly because the start of the blue hour would being in about one more hour. This couple drove up about 20 minutes later for the same reason and we soon formed a little team group. We went to the North Window and I had them hold in place for this frame. This is the "North Window" in what is known as "The Windows" and from here we moved to Double Arch where I also photographed the Milky Way while inside it ... fun stuff ! Don't forget ... I'll be conducting several night sky / Milky Way workshops in Moab, UT next year if you're interested in taking part in one just email me. Thanks to JTPatterson for your images with title "Stargazing Through A Window", and this photo copyright by JTPatterson
