After visiting Constitution Marsh for the first time this weekend I decided to go see what it looks like in the evening. When I arrived, although it was a beautiful afternoon, there was a strong breeze churning the water so that there was no good reflection as I had expected. It was still early and I waited. While waiting a cormorant swam by. I had the wide angle on the camera so I quickly switched to my 70-210. not fast enough. I then put the wide angle back on and a Blue Heron and an Egret flew by. Didn't even try to catch them. And then came the King Fisher that stayed around long enough for me to reach for the zoom again. With a chuckle it flew away as the lens switch was made. As the sun began to set the wind actually became stronger and then it stopped. Completely. i was able to get this shot, and a few others. This is a single exposure with luminance enhancements and nothing else.
