They say a picture speaks a thousand words. Well whatever it is, its not enough to describe the events of last night. By the time I captured this I was already ecstatic from another image I gratefully caught. With heavy rain and the intense storm cell overhead, for the first time, confiding in this cave was almost a necessity not choice. Its far from comfortable in there, particularly when the darkness prevents you seeing your own hand in front of your face and crabs circle your ankles. Yet every few seconds the night became like day as the storm exploded its way across the sky. Amongst utter chaos I've never felt so calm. This display of power was so raw, so beautiful. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't moved spiritually. Its always been about that, its why I have a camera. Chasing glimpse after glimpse of His glory.
