Sarah Marino and I recently returned from a month-long trip to Zion and Death Valley (currently my two favorite national parks in the US). We timed our visit to Zion for fall colors which were average this year, but fortunately there are a lot of "foliage optional" photographic opportunities in Zion, such as this.
